Through its 13 departments and programs, the Division of Social Sciences in the College of Letters and Sciences at UC Santa Barbara vigorously promotes such scientific study by offering an outstanding teaching and research environment in which students can develop an understanding of the diverse cultures and societies of today’s constantly changing world.
