Summer Research Program
The UC DIGSSS Summer Research Program is designed to engage students in the development of their own research and to advance their timely degree completion. A total of thirteen students were selected to participate in the 2008 Summer Research Program.
The program lasts for ten weeks; students receive a stipend and are required to attend weekly professional development seminars. Students also participate in a research colloquium where they present their research to faculty mentors, university staff and graduate student peers.
Student applicants identify a faculty mentor, submit a proposal and undergo a competitive selection process. Please click on the links below for 2009 application materials.
The deadline for the 2010 Summer Research Program is 1/29/10. Application materials for the 2010 program will be posted soon.
