On behalf of Alumni Affairs and UCSB Affiliates, you are cordially invited to join us for a special Profs @ the Pub at SAMsARA Winery on Tuesday, January 29 at 6:00pm.  Profs @ the Pub is a free monthly speaker series for local alumni, faculty, staff and community members at some of Santa Barbara's (and Goleta) favorite watering holes.

 

2018 National Book Award Winner and UCSB Professor Jeffrey Stewart will be highlighting our January Profs @ the Pub with insights about the birth and evolution of Jazz music.  Dr. Stewart's talk will include live music by versatile jazz musician George Friedenthal and the stunning jazz vocalist, Lois Mahalia.
