Kyle Meng is an Associate Professor at the Bren School of Environmental Management and the Department of Economics at UCSB. Beginning in late August 2023, Professor Meng will be joining the White House Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) in Washington as Senior Economist tasked with the council's climate, energy, and environment portfolio. CEA is charged with guiding the president on economic policy based on data, research, and evidence.
