Associate Dean and Professor of Chicana/o Studies Aida Hurtado receives the 2021 Distinguished Author Award by the American Associate of Hispanics in Higher Education, Inc. (AAHHE) for her 2020 book Intersectional Chicana Feminisms: Sitios y Lenguas, in recognition of her exceptional academic and scholarly contributions to the advancement of Latinos and Latinos in higher education, a set of contributions made exceedingly richer by Intersectional Chicana Feminisms.
